Every now and then, I will get an inquiry about “why Eastern Orthodoxy and not Eastern Catholicism?” I will present my problems regarding why I did not choose Eastern Catholicism, also called Uniates.
Yes Eastern Catholics do, anyone reading can simply google this in 2 seconds to see your statement is blatantly false from numerous sources such as the Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic Church or the Byzantine Catholic Seminary in Pittsburgh. All venerate these saints and have them on their liturgical calendars for commemoration.
It looks like you’re a sedevecantist which I honestly can actually appreciate as the most logical of all the RC positions. However, Vatican 1 clearly states the Roman See cannot defect, yet you say everything from the last 70 years is wrong and See is empty so the Roman See has therefore defected contradicting Vatican 1. By default this also shows that if you Sedes have had no Pope for 70 years the Orthodox position is the correct one.
Backhanded passive aggressive statements don’t bolster your case.
